Acrobat DC Pro not opening with latest update

Hello,

 

I just updated my Acrobat Pro and found that when I launch the application, it begins to open and then immediately closes. Acrobat Reader works fine. I have restarted my pc and still had the same issue. In terms of my Windows updates, I have 2023-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5026361) that is currently installing. However, it is now stuck at 24%, Any help or advice is appreciated. Is there any way, I can repeal the latest update? Do I have to completely reinstall and install once again.

I noticed that sometimes, after an update, Acrobat might get jammed.

  1.  check with Event Viewer what triggers the shut down
  2. try to turn off your antivirus, start applications/updates to see if it makes a difference. If Acrobat starts correctly, you can reboot, which should restart your antivirus as well.

I found Event Viewer but where do I look in it to see what triggers the shutdown? In terms of the antivirus, the organizatio I work for controls it so I can't turn it off. I've alerted them to the situation as well. They use Forticlient. That latest Windows update has been installed. It triggered a restart. My pc has restarted but still no luck on getting Acrobat to open.
