Acrobat DC Pro

In previous versions of Acrobat pro, I have been able to create pdf templates. In Acrobat DC Pro I can no longer do this. For example, I need to make an editable template that others in my organization can open, customize to their needs and then save and send. I only want the user to be able to edit copy not font, images or layout.

I create the pdf in Indesign CC then save out as a pdf. I thine would open the pdf in Acrobat pro ad editable text fields, set the font and save as template.  Acrobat DC Pro will not allow me to do this. Can anyone help me??

Shared Files - Acrobat.com

The file doesn't contain any form field.

  • Open the file in Adobe Acrobat
  • Activate Tools > Prepare Form
  • Add the form fields

In Acrobat DC use Tools > Prepare Form

Unfortunately this did not work. It failed to read my text fields. If I add my own text fields, I can not save as template so other can edit.

You can't save the form? What happens?
