Acrobat DC suddenly VERY SLOW when filling out a form (v 21.007.20099)

A few years ago I constructed an order form for my business using Acrobat Pro. It has always been very fast between tabs - for years it has worked flawlessly. After the last update of Acrobat DC (21.007.20099), there is significant lag time between tabs, increasing my time by about 10x. I literally have to wait until it tabs to the next cell before I can contine to fill the form out. As I said, before last week, everything was great - no problems whatsoever. Is there a fix for this? I'm running OS 11.5.2 on a 2018 MacBook Pro 15".
