Acrobat DC - Windows 10 - Constant Black Thumbnails

Yes, I've uninstalled / reinstalled.  Yes, I've rebuilt iconcache.db.  I've tried everything that I know of, and the PDF thumbnails go from "preview" (which I have an as option) to black on my desktop.  I haven't found anything on this other than links to old posts that redirect back to the "rebuild iconcache.db" stuff.

If anyone has any input / ideas / suggestions on this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Andy

Hi DrInfoman,

Apologies for the delayed response.

If you are still experiencing the issue, all you need to do is refresh the page on your system and the icons should be back to normal.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

Supriya

Hi DrInfoman,

Please share the exact workflow you follow to help us understand the issue better.

Also, please share any required screenshots for the same.

Thanks,

Hi...

Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about, per our conversation on Twitter.  As mentioned, there is no "workflow" - the PDF thumbnails simply keep going to these black icons.  A right-click / refresh on the desktop will bring them back, but they don't stay long and revert back to what you see here.
