Hallo,

Hi @DGTL.ONE
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat Pro you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.03.20215 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
you may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...
Also, please go through the steps shared in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-pdf-printing-acrobat-reader.html and see if that works.
Regards
Amal

Hi Amal,
Thank you for your prompt support. I'm using Adobe Acrobat version 2023.003.20215 on my Mac. It's a Mac with an M2 chip:
Architecture: arm64
Processor: Apple M2
Build: 23.3.20215.0
AGM: 7.0.4
CoolType: 8.2.1
JP2K: 4.0.0.52671
Interestingly, a colleague of mine is experiencing the same issue on his Mac with his Acrobat installation. He also has the freshly installed version 23.03.20215 of Acrobat and is using macOS 13.4.1 on a M1 chip. Both Macs are completely new and had no Adobe applications installed before.
Unfortunately, we both tried to solve the problem using the reset method as described in your instructions, but it didn't work. The other guide for printer troubleshooting didn't help either. We have both installed the latest driver from the printer manufacturer and set up the printer accordingly. However, on my computer, there are also other AirPrint printers set up that are not able to execute printing jobs coming from Acrobat.
At least the printers are not recognized by Acrobat and I come a step further. After hitting "Print" I now get the following error: "The document could not be printed" and the help button refers to the printing troubleshooting page that you sent before. I tried it with different PDF files and with the "Welcome" PDF file from Acrobat without success.
Trying to print from other applications like "Apple Preview" or Word etc. works with any of the printers without problems :S....

Both computers are using the same printer(driver)?

Yes, they are both using the same printer driver from Canon.
But I also tried to add the printer using AirPrint with the drivers that came included with macOS for the printer. This unfortuantely also does not work.

Hi there
Would you mind sharing the print logs as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/collect-print-logs-for-acrobat.html so that we can isolate the issue for further investigation.

Try changing these preferences. I was able to fix the problem in my computer with these settings.

Hi Amal,
is there a similar support page for macOS? As far as I saw this instructions are only working for Windows OSes?

Hi, I am so sorry for the super late response. I tried to to follow your steps but unfortunately that is a Mac. I don't see the directories as described behind your link. Is there a way to send you guys the logs from a Mac?
