Acrobat: Error Message: No Dictionary Found, Installation May Be Incorrect

Hallo.

Danke!

Alexander Thomas

Hi Alexander,

Thank you for reaching out.

As the message says installation may be incorrect, please try to reinstall the application. Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html) on the machine.

Restart the machine and then install the application from the following page.

Acrobat Pro DC: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Acrobat Reader DC: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hallo!

For Information: I have tried this process again, with the same result.

Deistalled Acrobat

Worked the cleaning tool

Installed Acrobat anew

Everything is fine, dictionary is on.

Next day:

opend Acrobat, dictionary is gone.

It is repeatable.

What is wrong with Acrobat?

Thanks!

Please try to install the dictionary from the following page: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/windows-font-packs-32-bit-reader.html.

Check if that works.

Let us know if you experience the same issue.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
