Acrobat extension for Chrome automatically opens first search result

As the title says, I'm having an issue with the extension auto opening the first search result when it's a PDF. I'm seeing this on several machines in our company currently.  If you open Google and search for "supplier guide sg-0181" the first result is a direct link to a PDF document at Northrop Grumman.  The search results display briefly and then the extension opens and displays the document. Clicking back does not go back to the results page either, but to the search page. Disabling the extension resolves the issue.

@bgreganti This is likely due to a setting within the Acrobat extension itself that's configured to automatically open PDFs in Chrome. To fix this, you need to adjust the Adobe Acrobat extension's settings. Click the puzzle piece icon in your Chrome toolbar:

Then find the Adobe Acrobat extension and click the three dots next to it.

Select "Options" or "Extension options." Look for a setting related to "Open PDFs in Chrome" or "Automatically open PDFs" and disable it. Once that setting is off, the extension should no longer hijack PDF links in search results.
