That’s an amazing update! Acrobat GPT sounds super useful for managing PDFs directly in ChatGPT. Tools like this make digital work much smoother. I often handle content for my thrift store, and having quick PDF editing options within chat will really save time. Excited to try it out — great work, team!

I find this attribute prevelent in mature software applications.: Over decades of accumulation of features the core benefit of the spftware is lost.
Point and case is MSWord, initially concieved in the 1980's after 40 years of 'development it is almost completely unusable. Adobe Acrobat is nearly there as well, the simple open and save functions are at the same time the most commonly used but nearly impossible to find. For example: 'save' or 'open' functions are given confusing labels 'Create a pdf space' or 'chat with your files to get quick insights' . if you want to save a pdf in a png format you can't do a 'save as' and select a directory path. It reqires a 'download' and provides a zip file with a randomly generated apha numeric name and may require 3rd parry software to extract the image. The software will continuously prompt for subscription for AI tools that are listed as 'included in your subscription' but your prompted for a $5/mo added subscription. (for a truly awful AI experience). The AI will summarize documents or help you write them. If you agree it charges for the opinion. You can't shut it off. All of this layered on top of what would be a 10 second effort is now a ten minute navigational exercise in not using adobe cloud storage (or OneDrive, or Google Docs), not using there AI funtionaily. And your only perpose is to get some work done.
This folks is where all software teams kill thier product by not understanding the core point of a pdf is a non-volatile document that can be published . Seriously -- go find the 'Open' and 'Save' funtions on the tool bar.

This is a fantastic and logical integration. Bringing Acrobat's core PDF tools directly into the ChatGPT workflow is a significant step towards seamless document management.
The ability to perform essential tasks like merging, splitting, and OCR without the friction of app-switching or manual uploads is a genuine productivity booster. Click here to access the official guide and see a full list of supported actions. It feels like a natural extension of the "work smarter" philosophy, placing powerful tools right where the creative and analytical conversation is already happening.
This early release is incredibly promising. I'm excited to test it out and see how it streamlines my own document-heavy processes. Congratulations to the entire Acrobat team on the launch

That’s a really impressive update — thanks for sharing this! Acrobat GPT sounds like a real game-changer, especially for people who deal with documents every day. Having all those PDF tools right in the chat definitely makes work faster and more efficient.
With the continuous oil price hikes we’re seeing here in the Philippines — the fourth straight week already this October 2025 — tools that save time and improve workflow really help offset rising costs in daily operations. It’s great to see innovations like this making work a little easier during such challenging times.
