Acrobat installer encountered an unexpected download issue

I have been fighting with an install for a user for a couple of hours now. I have tried a few things to try to get the download to go through but to no avail.

I logged into the local admin account to try to run the installed but get hung up at 5% and encounter an error.

I have tried killing all adobe processed in the background and trying to run the installer but get the same outcome, 5% and error.

I have tried running the Adobe Acrobat Cleaner tool, restarting and trying to run the installer... same deal. error at 5%.

Please advise how I can get this user Acrobat Standard DC installed. He can't move forward with his daily tasks without it.

As you are facing issue when trying to install Acrobat Standard DC on the machine, could you try downloading Acrobat installer from this link: Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC | Non-subscription  and check?
