We have switched from the downloaded version of Pro to using our subscription online.  I am not able to edit fields withing a PDF using the online version (i.e. I have calculated fields that I am not able to change).  Does this sort of editing require Pro using on my desktop?

Hi,

I am not sure how compatible it is with the original tools ( I don't use it much) but I think you want to click "Create a web form" - this should spot all your fields.
