Acrobat Preflight changes unembedded Helvetica Font to Arial

Hi, I have an issue with several Helvetica fonts in a PDF file.
I run a preflight within Acrobat pro and the fonts are metioned as not embeded. When I try to embed the fonts with the default "embed fonts" correction within the Acrobat Preflight, the fonts are replaced by an Arial font. The fonts are marked as a type 1 font and of course I have Helvetica font installed on my system but as a Truetype font.
I'm wondering why Acrobat replaces the font without any information about that! It would be fine if I get the feedback that the font could not be embeded but it's not ok that the font is replaced without any notification.
If I'm running the same correction with callas, the fonts are embeded correctly. I'm working on a Mac System.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
