Hello, I am setting up my home office computer and have an issue trying to use my work Adobe Pro 17 licence on my home computer. I have signed out of my work Adobe, and have logged in at home and downloaded the correct version listed under 'Your Product' in my Adobe account. But when I try and run this Adobe Pro 17, after accepting my serial number, it comes up with a box stating 'Serial Number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer.' It then asks for the serial number of my previous version?
My account says that my product is Acrobat Professional, version 17. I downloaded it from this page on my account and it is indeed Pro 17. Why is it saying the serial is valid by a qualifying product cannot be found on this computer? Any help is appreciated!

Hi Brendan,
Thank you for reaching out and sorry about the trouble.
Please remove the application installed on the machine and reboot the machine.
Install Acrobat 17 from the following page: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/acrobat-2017-downloads.html.
Ensure that you add the right serial number. You may check the serial number for the product on your Adobe account here: https://account.adobe.com/ or may use the steps suggested in the following help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/find-serial-number.html.
Also, ensure that your machine meets the folloiwjg requirements: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/system-requirements-acrobat-2017.html.
If the issue persists, share the screenshot of the error message that you receive and the OS version on the machine.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

This is an upgrade serial number. To use an upgrade you have to "qualify" by owning an older product - Acrobat 2015 I inagine, or Acrobat XI. So you just need to enter, when asked, the serial number of that old, qualifying, version.
