I recently received a notification that stated in part that, "support for Acrobat Pro 2020 will end by July 2025, and the licenses will expire on December 1, 2026, after which the product will no longer function." Is this true, and if so, can they really deactivate products I purchased years ago? I have two Acrobat Pro 2020 licenses and am wondering what my options are to keep these products working.

That is not what that message says, though. It says (if quoted correctly, I didn't see it myself) that the product will no longer function, which is very different from "it will no longer receive updates"... And unfortunately, yes, it's possible Adobe will do that. They already did something similar with earlier versions.
