I purchased the standalone product Acrobat Pro 2020 in 2023, and installed it on a laptop running Windows 10.
I recently purchased a new laptop (running windows 11), and installed Acrobat Pro on there as well, but I can't seem to use it...
When I login to my adobe account to check "Activated Devices" it says "You have no activated devices"
Shouldn't there at least be one computer listed in there?
Adobe says:
"You can install Adobe applications on more than one computer, activate them (sign in) on two, but use them on only one computer at a time."
I cannot access my old laptop (due to a hardware failure). How do I activate Adobe Acrobat Pro on my new laptop??
TIA for any help.

Thank you for the detailed response. Very much appreciate it.
I purchased the product new.
Update: After some finagling, I was finally able to get Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 working on my new laptop (had to key in the serial no).
I've always balked at buying the newest/latest version of Acrobat Pro because I don't like the idea of paying in perpetuity for a subscrption to a software product (which is why I bought the standalone version). Prefer to own it outright.
Cheers,

@appa|oosa This is a common point of confusion for perpetual licenses (like Acrobat Pro 2020) versus Creative Cloud subscriptions. For perpetual licenses activated with a serial number, the "Activated Devices" section on your Adobe account page typically does not show your activated machines. This section is primarily for Creative Cloud subscriptions, where activation is tied to your Adobe ID and managed more dynamically. Therefore, the fact that you don't see your old laptop listed there is not necessarily an indication of an issue with your license itself, but rather how perpetual licenses are managed by Adobe.
But, when you said that your bought the 'standalone product Acrobat Pro 2020 in 2023' did you buy used or new? Because if you bought it used, the chances are that other person likely have their copy activated, and having the other activatation on the dead computer is going to be hard thing to deal with. Adobe generally allows you to install and activate standalone products like Acrobat Pro 2020 on two computers, but only use one at a time. When a computer fails, and you can't deactivate it, that "activation slot" remains tied up.
Although, support for Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 officially ends on November 30, 2025.
While the product will likely continue to function after this date, Adobe will no longer provide technical support, bug fixes, or security patches. This means using the software beyond this date could expose you to security vulnerabilities and potential compatibility issues with newer operating systems or other software. Something to consider, in maybe getting new and greatest Acrobat? https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/pricing/compare-versions.html
