Our case is pre-press.

From time to time as a late stage edit prior to printing we use the functionality to open an image contained within a pdf page in photoshop in order to retouch, alter colours etc.

Whilst the new feature of using Adobe express maybe helpful to some - we'd like to just use the old fashioned photshop tool since it's what we know and has proved useful overtime. The preference to use photoshop remains in settings however it's not clear to us how we overide the "new" feature of using adobe express which isn't set in our preferences.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

ignore me - in the latest release the UI has changed - no longer a right click of the mouse but the old functionality is there in the sidebar
