Acrobat Pro and Windows 11: Internal error notification

New Here ,
Jun 23, 2023 Jun 23, 2023

Hi, today my pdf docs stopped opening and I keep getting the internal error pop-up. See attached image. The preview plane in windows explorer still displays the pdf just fine, but Acrobat is showing without any icons, menus, and doesn't display the document. I've uninstalled/reinstalled twice and restarted my computer. Can't think of anything I've changed or updated recently. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, so I just went ahead with a more aggressive option and acrobat is loading docs again. I only have acrobat on my computer for work so I felt safe doing what I did. I uninstalled acrobat and creative cloud, I deleted the adobe folders in programs and programs x64, I went to the users/me/appdata and deleted the adobe folders in local, locallow and roaming. I restared, downloaded and installed acrobat, restarted again and it's working. I don't suggest anyone else do this, but I was getting fed up and have to be able to edit pdfs for work. Anyways, it's working. Bye.
