Acrobat Pro DC Measuring tool

New Here ,

Hi.

Can anybody help?

My measuring tool will only measure in vertical or horizontal lines. I used to be able to use the line in any direction to measure (e.g. 45 degrees/diagonals, etc), but now I can't get it to work except for horizontal and vertical. The same thing happens with my area tool; I can't track the pointer/line around a curved object. Tried checking for updates (Im updated) and playing around with preferences but nothing seems to get it back to what it was before. So frustrating, as I rely on it immensely.

It's working for me (Mac), try resetting your Acrobat preferences:

Do you have "Use Orthographic Lines" checked? It should be unchecked.
