Acrobat Pro DC problems with Apple M1 chip

Hello,

I'm having an issue with a Macbook Air with M1 Chip running MacOS BigSur (11.6.4).

A simple action to open a PDF attached to an email starts the spinning wheel and hangs the computer.

I've updated Acrobat DC Pro to the latest version (22.001.20085) and the problem remains.

After, I disabled Javascript, Native mode (which makes the application run a little better) and the online storage when opening and saving files.

I got the log files (attached) as described in https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/collect-logs-crash-freeze.html

It's very annoying have this many issues and very frustrating. Can someone have a fix for that?

Thanks.

the issue I'm having running Ventura 13.6 with the Apple M1 chip and Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2023.006.20360 is whenever I open a pretty big pdf with lots of layers or make a big pdf the images load really choppy - it didn't do that in other versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro the file load very smoothly - anyone know of any fixes?   thanks!     🙂

nevermind - fixed it - had my page display in preferences as 2-up continuous - unchecked that and files are opening up nice and smooth. Hope this helps!     🙂

I'm having the same problem. I using the latest version of Acrobat Pro running under MacOS Ventura 13.0 on Apple Studio w M1 and 32 GB RAM. It's actually slower now than it was on a 2017 27" iMac. Where it has been slow withbeach balls for a long time. Now even the beachballs freeze and scrolling is terrible with only parts of pages being displayed.
