Acrobat PRO DC scaling of windows and buttons not following Windows 10 scaling

Using Acrobat PRO DC, Windows 10 PRO, Eizo 27" monitor 2560 x 1440, Windows scaling 200%

Until recently the scaling of PDF files and the scaling of the Acrobat windows (e.g. Preferences) were more or less correct. After an update the scaling of PDF files is still correct. But the size of the text in the various Acrobat windows (and buttons) is very small. I hardly can read it.

Please fix this, otherwise Acrobat is useless for me.

Hi Henri

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, Acrobat PRO DC scaling of windows and buttons not following Windows 10 scaling

Please go to Edit > Preferences > General > Under 'Scale for screen resolution', toggle between Auto Detect and No scaling and see if that works for you.

Also go to Edit > Preferences > Page Display > Under Resolution Toggle between 'System setting' and 'Custom resolution' and check.

Hope this information will help

Changing it to "No scaling" made it even worse.

Your other suggestion did not help either.

I don't know what has been changed. I never had this problem before.

Hi there

We are sorry to hear that. Please check for any missing/pending updates for the OS and try updating it and reboot the computer. Also try updating the video driver and check.

You may also try to remove the video driver and then reinstall it from the manufacturer website and se eif that helps.

All my software is up to date.

As said, my Windows scaling is 200%. In the past the text in the Acrobat windows was way to big. And as the Acrobat developers refused to create resizable windows, I could not get to the OK button and other buttons. Fortunately this issue has been resolved (after about 3 or 4 years...).

Now I have the opposite problem. The text (font size) in the Acrobat windows do not follow the Windows scaling. The text in de PDF files are ok.

I did not create a new user profile. I noticed my question is not correct. On my desktop Windows scaling is 200%. I got back to 125% and 150% and noticed the Adobe windows are even smaller. So it follows the Windows 10 scaling.

However, not so long ago the Adobe windows were much bigger, sometimes even with a scoll bar at the right side. This has changed recently. As stated before, one or two years the text in de Adobe windows was very large. With non-resizable Adobe windows, I was unable to go to the OK button.

In short, something has changed in the Adobe Acrobat DC program.

Also please try reset the Acrobat preferences as described here - https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau... and see if that works for you.

im not sure what you don't understand? Regardless of the system scaling, the toolbars and menus within the program are too small.  I also have this issue and it's insane.
