@chase_2006 The issue of invisible text or fonts in Adobe sounds more like font embedding issues. Start by ensuring your Adobe Acrobat Pro is updated to the latest version. Then, try changing the "Page Display" settings under "Preferences" to see if that resolves the rendering issue. If that doesn't work, attempt printing the document to a PDF using a different printer driver, which can sometimes force a refresh of the font rendering. If the problem persists, the document itself might be corrupted, or the fonts used may be incompatible with your system. As a last resort, try repairing your Adobe Acrobat Pro installation, or if needed, reinstalling it entirely, to rule out any software-related glitches.

Hello!

I hope you are doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble. Could you please share the current version of the Acrobat app installed? To identify, please check this article for steps: https://adobe.ly/3FMDRmc

Also, would it be possible to share a sample PDF where the fonts are missing or invisible, along with a screen recording for further investigation?

We 're here to help, just need more info.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

This has been going on since the March 11th update (Mac OS - Build: 25 . 1 . 20432 . 0). @AnandSri is there a way to revert to the previous version until this is resolved?

The left is in Acrobat, the right is in Preview. There's not an issue with the file, there is an issue with how the latest update of Acrobat is rendering it.

Hi Marcus,

Thanks for your patience and cooperation.

Please install the latest version of Acrobat (25.001.2043x Optional update, released on March 19, 2025) to address the issue. You can check for the latest update by navigating to Menu > Help > Check for updates. After installing the update, restart your machine and let us know if you encounter any issues.

This issue is likely due to missing or improperly embedded fonts. Try these fixes: Check font embedding (File > Properties > Fonts), update Acrobat Pro, enable 'Use Local Fonts' (Preferences > Page Display), and reopen the file in a different PDF reader. If the issue persists, reinstall the fonts or print to PDF again. Hope this helps

I understand how frustrating it can be to deal with invisible text or fonts in Adobe Acrobat Pro. Here are a few troubleshooting tips:

  1. Check Font Embedding: Ensure fonts are properly embedded in the document.

  2. Update Acrobat Pro: Make sure you're using the latest version to avoid bugs.

  3. Check Document Properties: Verify the text isn't the same color as the background or hidden behind layers.

  4. Disable Protected Mode: Try disabling Protected Mode to see if it helps.

  5. Reinstall Fonts: Try reinstalling or replacing the fonts in the document.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, I suggest joining the Join N Chat WhatsApp group. There, you can get real-time help from experts and fellow users who can assist you in fixing the problem.
