Acrobat Pro - PDF displays then goes to black screen when another window is clicked on

Question

Acrobat Pro (JP2K Version 4.000.00002.54782 64bit) just installed mostly used to display PDF's in Filebound. When view is chosen screen is light gray then blinks dark and pdf is displayed. As soon as I click on another window the pdf disappears and window goes to black. Have to display another pdf and go back to same one to get pdf to display again.

Previously had older version of acrobat and did NOT have this problem.

Hope this makes sense, rather hard to explain. Thanks for any help.

Thank you for reaching out.

Please let us know if you are using the dual screen. Also, could you please share a video or screen recording of the issue occurring on your end? Also, share the current Acrobat and OS version on the machine.

In the meantime, try reinstalling the Acrobat using the steps suggested here:

-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html.

Check if that changes anything.
