Acrobat recently started to open file bookmarks view

When double clicking a file (Windows Explorer) the file opens in bookmark view. I need to [Close] that view to get to the 'normal' view.

This started just recently and initially I was a little confused.

I do not remember having changed something within the settings. In fact, I would not know whát exactly to change in order to get this bookmark view by default.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

This is usually a property of the file itself. If you're using Acrobat go to File - Properties - Initial View and change Navigation Tab to "Page Only".

Thanks a lot!
This seems to look like having a toothache. You go to the dentist, no toothache anymore.
Or you hear some weird sound in your car. You go to the dealer, the sound has gone.
I tried a number of times just now, but cannot reproduce this behaviour of Acrobat.
Checked out above settings. Seems to look okay.

Again, thanks. At least now I know where to look should it happen again... 🙂

Hm... it strikes me that bookmark view is only in case of PDF files attached to an email (Outlook)

Any suggestions on that?
