Acrobat - Tel: and Callto: link opens in Chrome

I have a set of employee contact PDFs that I created in Acrobat.  The PDFs have contact info, phone number and email.  I am attempting to create a link for both of the contacts to open in corresponding program.  I used mailto: for the emails and it works by opening MS Outlook.  The issue that I am having is with the phone number.  When I use tel: or callto: the link opens the Chrome browser instead of MS Teams.  The Windows 11 "default program" for both tel: and callto: are set to use MS Teams.  I have tested the same PDF in multiple other PDF viewers and the links work as expected and opens MS Teams.  It seems to be the way Acrobat is handling the link.  Any advice on how to adjust to get the link to open in MS Teams?

Thanks in advance

Run the same command from the Run tool of the OS (Win+R). What happens then?

I ran both of them in the Run Tool and they both opened up teams as expected.

Odd... Then it should work like that when used in Acrobat, too.

What's the exact version number of the application (You can find it out by going to Help - About Adobe Acrobat)? What's your OS version?
