Acrobat won't install via CC - error 136

Hi there, I'm trying to install Acrobat via CC and I'm getting error code 136 and the log file says

Exit Code: 7
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR: DW003, DW071 ...

This is a clean build PC with no previous versions of Acrobat

 

Any help would be appreciated 🙂

Exit code 7 is a known error caused by a corrupted registry entry. If you still experience the same issue, then please refer to the troubleshooting steps suggested here: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7-cc.html#rename_folders 

Note: Before attempting this solution, make sure that you have attempted to uninstall the programs you are trying to install. Use cleaner tool for the uninstallation: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html

Did this ever get resolved? New PC here and all CC apps install fine via group policy except Acrobat, which is a mnnaul install via the creative cloud desktop app. JUst getting same error as above though.

We have the same issue, it seems Adobe 'support' is a complete waste of time in resolving this error. +1 unhappy customer!
