Acrobat XI license revoked

New Here ,
Feb 05, 2024 Feb 05, 2024

Back in 2015 my company purchased a volume license of Acrobat XI through a reputable reseller, CDW. Everything has been working fine until today. Today I got notification that my license has been revoked. I spoke with Adobe Support and was told that they no longer provide license support for XI. They confirmed the license was real, but that they did not see anything wrong with it on their end and referred me to the Adobe Community to talk to the experts..

I've searched various posts and found no real resolution.

Any experts out there have any idea how I can fix this?

There really isn't anything we can do about it. They should not have sent you here with this issue.

I would contact them again and ask to speak to their Enterprise Support team. If the license is valid then it's their responsibility to make sure it works, even if it's outdated. If it's not valid, then the issue needs to be handled by the reseller.

Hi Corey,

You are not the only one with this issue. I had the same problem, and Adobe suggested I 'deactivate' the license on a different machine and see if the activation works after that. Sadly, the other machine crashed and can  not be deactivated.

Adobe basically is looking to take more of your money, they want you to buy a subscription to the cloud suite.

Per 'Try67' - this is NOT a reseller issue, it IS an Adobe issue.

Fortunately there are other options, Acrobat is not the only game in the park
