Acrobat XI Pro after upgrade to Windows 10

The Acrobat PDF maker option is not showing on the Tool bar in Word or Excel after getting a new computer with Windows 10.  I checked the add ins, performed all the steps suggested, ran the repair tool, etc. Nothing worked.  I am hesitant to remove the program until I discuss this issue with those who can provide insight on how to manage this issue.  Thanks.

Acrobat XI is no longer supported by Adobe and is becoming more and more incompatible with every new update to Windows and/or Office. Your best chances of getting it to work are to update it to the latest available version (11.0.23) and run it in Compatibility Mode with an earlier OS, like Windows 7. However, even if you do that it's possible that you would still encounter issues, especially when it comes to things like integration with other software, such as the PDFMaker plugin.
