Acrobat XI Pro - How do I stop Acrobat from opening documents when printed?

Whenever I print a document to a PDF file, Acrobat opens the file when it is done printing it.
How do I suppress this feature?
Thanks!

Joe

@gfr92y Okay. This could be because you are applying the setting (unchecking the box) through the print dialog which is applying it only for that one, specific print job. Try unchecking the box by going through your system settings (as seen in my screenshot) to see if it will "stick" that way.

From the Start menu > Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.

@gfr92y In Windows, this is done through Settings in your Adobe PDF Printing Preferences. Uncheck the box, "View Adobe PDF results." Let us know if that does the trick!

Jain,

It worked just like you said it would, but it does "stick". I have to uncheck "View Adobe PDF results." each time.

Is there any way to make the "stick"?

Thanks!
