Acrobate Pro DC for Mac not responding (perpetual beachball)

My Acrobate Pro DC for Mac has today ceased to respond such that it is no longer functional.  How does one fix this?

Close all Adobe and creative cloud process in activity monitor.

Go to Go>Utilities>Keychain Access and remove all Adobe related entries

 

Reopen creative cloud if installed, if not open Acrobat 

 

Recommend install creative cloud if not installed:

I am having the exact same issue. This just started up today... Acrobat DC is hanging immediately upon opening. I have uninstalled, reinstalled but to no avail.

I did this!

Deleted Acrobat Pro, restarted Mac, installed Acrobat Pro again

Still the same problem!!!
