AcroCEF crashing on latest version

Hello, I'm part of the IT team and I've been seeing users here and there get this error but there is two that I'm working with. Here's what I've done to rectify this issue:


1) Reinstall Acrobat DC

2) Reinstall + scrub + install 32 bit Acrobat DC

3) Reinstall + scrub + install 64 bit Acrobat DC

4) did the registry keys that prevented injection or w/e mentioned here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/persistent-error-code-0xc0000001-for-acrocef-exe-for-adobe-acrobat-reader-dc/m-p/12807807

basically everything in that post I have done^

5) Updated to the latest version 22.001.20117

 

Event viewer lists this as c0000409 AND it also will throw bad_module_info errors.

Hi Dan, unfortunately not but I have a ticket open with Adobe support. Currently trying to gather logs using procmon however I have not had luck since when it's running, the error doesn't seem to show up.

Mayhaps you can get a log with the error?

Hey Kevin,

yeah we should be able to reproduce! I have a bunch of users with this issue. Let me try and get a log together for us.
