Hi,

I am not able to open any adobe file as I am getting the below error,

 

I am using window 7 Ultimate 64-bit operating system. Please can anyone let me know what to do

We are live with the October interim release, which has the fix for this issue.

Requesting all to update your applications with the latest update. To check for the latest updates, launch the App > “Help -> Check for updates”.

 

If you’re still experiencing this issue, I encourage you to share any additional details or steps that led to it. This will assist us in diagnosing and fixing the issue more effectively.

For Windows 7 install this update (32-bit or 64-bit):

Windows6.1-KB3080149-x86.msu

Is there a way to revert to the previous version of Acrobat Reader? Installing an upgrade to Windows may cause other compatability issues.

Dear Adobe team due to auto update of adobe reader in windows 7 pc this issue occured kindly on this matter and provide solution for the same we already uninstall and intall tha same but after 2 days same issue occured

Yes I am having the same problem.  Windows 7.  I have to run Windows 7 since it is the only system compatable with the report writing software I use for my business.

I too haveing this same error. Started 3 days ago. Only in Windows 7 64 bit machine. Windows 10 and 11 no issues and it is working fine. Repaired, uninstalled and reinstalled both newer and older version (online and offline installer) but same error

Having exactly the same issues the last few days, possibly started at the same time. Windows 7 Home Premium.

I've done some recommended steps from here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-failed-load-core-dll.html
1) I've run repair, 2) uninstalled/installed again, using the adobe recommended acrocleaner tool inbetween. I cannot disable protected mode as Reader does not start at all. Nothing helped.

I'll collect a prcomon log next. Do I just upload it here?

We are actively monitoring this issue and looking for assissteance to debug this issue.  Please let us know if you are availble to connect over a call for a debugging session. Please also share the version of advapi32.dll files from your machines. The file would be present at "c:\windows\System32"

Kindly help me out, I have the same issue. Repair, reinstall and tried all the options available online. Please help me. Tomorrow's (25-09-2024) 10 AM (India) I am free, please guide me in the morning. Thank you
