Hi,

I am not able to open any adobe file as I am getting the below error,

I am using window 7 Ultimate 64-bit operating system. Please can anyone let me know what to do

Thanks @priyashani_8282 for reporting it. Team tried to reproduce it itnerally but couldn't reproduce the same. Would you be able to pls help with the prcomon logs from your system that can help to debug it faster.
Refer this to collect procmon logs from your system.

Me too, i have a problem with AcroRd32.exe - Entry Point Not Found "The procedure entry point EventSetInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.dll.

How to fix this error?

Salve anch'io stesso problema dal 18 settembre 2024 su file pdf :  "impossibile trovare il punto d'ingresso EventSet Information della procedura nella libreria di collegamento dinamico ADVAPI32".dll."  IOS Windows 7 Home Edition 64 -bit. Adobe non si apre. Come potete aiutare? Non posso lavorare senza Adobe..

Salve, il problema ancora non è stato risolto. Anch'io ho riparato, e reinstallato Adobe Acrobat , ma nulla. non posso disabilitare modalità protetta perchè Adobe non si avvia come già detto da altri utenti. Stesso problema. Non posso partecipare a debug poichè Adobe lo uso mentre lavoro. Prego dare indicazioni per risolvere. Grazie Allego versione file System32

Having exactly the same issues the last few days, possibly started at the same time. Windows 7 Home Premium.

I've done some recommended steps from here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-failed-load-core-dll.html
1) I've run repair, 2) uninstalled/installed again, using the adobe recommended acrocleaner tool inbetween. I cannot disable protected mode as Reader does not start at all. Nothing helped.

I'll collect a prcomon log next. Do I just upload it here?

I too haveing this same error. Started 3 days ago. Only in Windows 7 64 bit machine. Windows 10 and 11 no issues and it is working fine. Repaired, uninstalled and reinstalled both newer and older version (online and offline installer) but same error

Dear Adobe team due to auto update of adobe reader in windows 7 pc this issue occured kindly on this matter and provide solution for the same we already uninstall and intall tha same but after 2 days same issue occured
