PDF is not the format to use when creating something from scratch. You need to create it in another application and then convert that file to a PDF when done. Make sure to keep a copy of the original file in case you want to make changes to it in the future.

Thank you for the direction.  I do appreciate it.  Can you give me any help with information on how to begin or create those types of office documents.  I started my career here at my current company as a CNC programmer.  My duties have changed over time and now I have the need to use and create power point, flow charts, and production reports.  However, I have never had any formal training and have had no experience seeing or doing anything of the like.

Would a workflow like Illustrator -> Animate -> Acrobat make sense? I've got the same issue. I'm worried the .swf export from Animate won't function properly in Acrobat. Should I be worried, or nah?
