Adding Hyperlinks

Hi,

I would like to add hyperlinks to a pdf. The pdf conatins a picture of a house and I would like to be able to click on each component of the house (e.g. window, door, drain-pipe, slates, etc) to link to its REPAIR HISTORY.

For example, if  I hover the mouse over the DOOR I would like the door to change colour (so I know it is 'selectable'). If I then click on the DOOR I would like to be linked to another page which has the DOOR REPAIR HISTORY.

Is this possible in Acrobat? Will I need to subscribe to a 'professional' version?

I appreciate any help.

Many thanks

Iain

You can use the link tool of Adobe Acrobat Standard or Pro.

Ok, thanks Bernd.

Do you know if I can alter the shape of the 'clickable' part?

For example, when one hovers the mouse over a circular window, I would like the clickable shape (circle) to change colour. Some other shapes would be more complex polygons, e.g. a drainpipe that is straight and curved in sections.

Do you know of any website where I can see good example of a pdf pictures having clickable parts?

Many thanks for your help

Iain

Acrobat can only create rectangular links.
