Adobe Acrobat 10 update?

I have Adobe Acrobat 10 and I want to update it to the latest version, what are my options? I dont want the DC version, I want a desktop version. When I go to help and click updates I get a message saying it can not connect to the adobe server. Thank you

All versions of Acrobat including DC are desktop versions. For some reason people think Acrobat DC is cloud software. Actually, I know the reason, it's the foolish Document Cloud name. Just a name. However, if you want the latest version, in a permanent license, you need to buy (not upgrade to) Acrobat Pro 2017.
