I manage several computer with Adobe Acrobat ranging from 2017 to 2020 on Windows 10 Pro.   All of these get the following message when attempting to manualy download updates from the Help/Check For Updates and an update is available.

"Update Failed.  Cannot download update files.  Please check for updates again later.  Error: 140330."

I have looked up the error online but haven't found any solution that matches my scenario.

Any help will be much appreciated.

UPDATE:  I couldn't find a solution to fix the auto-update so I tried manually updating from the adobe download page.  This worked for both 2017 and 2020.  I won't know until the next update if the auto-update is still an issue.  Hopefully it got resolved with the manual update.  Thanks to those that replied with suggestions.

140330 does not exist in Updater, but 140300 does. It is File Download failure.

Please enable Updater verbose logging (search this forum for iLogLevel registry value fro instructions) and provide verbose log file (AdobeARM.log) from User Temp folder after you check for updates again. Please send me this file in the private message; do not post here in the forum.
