I bought Acrobat 7.0 Standar a few years ago for my small company, now I closed the company and I have a new computer, I want to reinstall this in the new computer, but I have it in a CD and the new computer does not have CD reader, so I went to my account to ask for the software with the serial numberm, but in my account it says this seria number is in use.... (the old computer is shuted down, so I dont understand )
Please help me to reinstall this software in the new computer from my account directly since I have no CD reader....
Thanks

We can't help you with this issue. Adobe no longer offers installers for such ancient versions, and it's not likely to run correctly on a new computer anyway. It's time for a new license.

You can always get an external CD reader.
If you are the registered owner, you can usually get customer service to reset your install count. (Software usually has to be deactivated before uninstalling; shutting down the computer has nothing to do with it.)
The biggest problem I see is trying to run software that is about 17 years old on a new computer.

Thanks,
I have tried to install it (with a DVD reader) in the new computer, and it seems ok, but when I open it it say I have to activate it, and when I put my serial number it says the server is not available, and if I try to activate it by phone, it says this phone does not exist any more......
I understand it is an old software, but I paid several hundres of euros for it, and I dont want to pay more, I can use this version of the software, I dont need any new upgrades....
I dont know how to activate this software now, I need help please !!!

We can't help. Adobe decided to disable the old activation servers, which means these older versions can no longer be used.

I should have paid more attention to the version. Forget it--it's not going to work. Considering that version came out in 2004, you got your money's worth out of it.
See: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/activation-deactivation-help.html
Specifically:
Our aging activation servers for earlier versions of Acrobat and Creative Suite (CS) applications had to be retired. You won't be able to activate these apps, as these activation servers are no longer available.
Affected applications include Creative Suite 2 and 3 applications, Acrobat 7 and 8 (Standard and Professional), and Acrobat 3D Version 8.

I have the same problem, David.
I've been running Acrobat 7.0 Standard for years on one computer but needed to get a new computer this last week. That particular software is still running fine on my older Windows 10 machine, but I get the Invalid Serial Number error message when I try to install it on my new Windows 10 machine. I was told about the deactivation of your registration servers so I know what you said is true.
I'm a retired engineer, using Acrobat 7.0 Standard, Lightroom 5, Photoshop CS2, and Elements 2020 for my own personal use. Like Irene above, I've also paid good money over the years for Adobe products and I'm VERY upset that these licenses become obsolete and not reinstallable on a new machine. Adobe really needs to care a little more about their legacy customers and find a workaround to this problem.
I now know the end of life is coming for my Lightroom and Photoshop packages at some point - it's just a matter of time.
I'm not willing to pay their monthly subscription fee for Acrobat as a replacement to my Acrobat 7.0. I'm not happy.
