Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro crashes when trying to combine files

I am creating a larger report and combing pdf files on Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. When I go to insert the pdf's the program completely crashes. HELP!

Acrobat 9 is extremely old and not compatible with any current operating system, so problems are to be expected.

Make sure you update it to the latest version available (9.5.5), and try running it in Compatibility Mode with an earlier OS.
