Hy community,

I got a problem with our Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, I reinstalled it at on of our clients and I cant change the language.

I tried following solutions:

Edit->International->Set language at startup  -> there is no statup language prompt

Edit->International->Set language as system  -> there is no change

Registry hkcu/software/adobe/adobe9/language -> there stands ui=ENU (I tried to change it to DE / DEU / de_DE / GER for German nothing worked)

the entry next and current redirect to the file adobe.dll

Thanks for your responses, stay healthy

Correct answer Test Screen Name

That is the Acrobat X (10) installer in the picture, not the Acrobat 9 installer...

Ok, I looked at my old copy of Acrobat Pro Extended 9. Acrobat came in many different language packs, including English only and English/French/German. I think a reply asked you to try holding down Ctrl while starting Acrobat. I just did this and was prompted for language. What happens for you? (I do support the suggestion, strongly, that running old versions is very dangerous and you should upgrade immediately).

Let's turn the question around. Do you have any reason to think this product license includes both English and German? For example, does the client say it used to be in German? If so, are you using the client's original CD?

Hi,

yes I thought it must be a german version because it was bought in germany. Iam sad that I have no german installer to test, if the key would work for that version.

I used the original CD to install the software.

The client says yes the Software would be german, but I can not confirm that.

Perhaps this is the English-language only installer.

In the case of Windows version, if you hold down the Ctrl key at startup, the language setting will usually be displayed.
However, Acrobat 9 is no longer supported, has no security support, and does not support current operating systems.
Let's move to Acrobat DC immediately.
