Thanks for the partial fix, but there are still several bugs in the program.
- Graphics that are marked "decorative" in Word are not being artifacted by PDF Maker. Instead, they are given code gibberish again in the Alt-text.
- And the "image" content is wrapped in a <P> tag. PDF/UA-2 is unpublished at this time and still being written (and probably won't be out for another year at the earliest). You can't code PDFs to "vaporStandards." You must code today to the current PDF/UA-1 standard, which requires that graphics be in the <Figure> tag. At this time, this crud is being voiced by screen readers and that is a huge civil rights violation.
- The <P>PathPathPath crud is still stuck in table rows. It's suppoed to be artifacted.
Note: there is no <Artifact> tag in PDF/UA-1, and the PDF/UA-2 standard is still vaporStandards. You must code this as artifact per the current standard, PDF/UA-1.
Accessibility standards affect 1/3 of the world's population that have a disability or impairment to use a computer: sight, low-vision, upper body dexterity, cognitive, reading disorders, dyslexias, hearing, and neurologic disabilities.
