Adobe Acrobat and Reader - June 2022 updates are Live!!

 

We are happy to announce that the latest Acrobat and Reader Continuous Tracks release on June 14, 2022, has left the buildings! We are now LIVE.

 

What's in the update?

  • The latest update of Acrobat & Reader contains:

 

Adobe recommends installing the Acrobat and Reader updates for Windows & Mac 22.001.20142 as soon as possible.

 

Note:

Adobe is rolling out this release incrementally. To experience the new features immediately, update your Acrobat—on the Help menu, click Check for updates and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update process.

 

New Feature highlights:

  • "What's New" card in Acrobat
  • Start the Tools onboarding tour
  • Large file uploads to Adobe Cloud storage

Note: Few features are being rolled out as an experiment and may not be available to all users.

 

Bug Fixes:

 

3D:

  • 3D rendering speed is degraded for large 3D drawings with Protected Mode ON
  • PM prevents 3D PDF rendering hardware acceleration with NVidia graphics

 

Accessibility:

  • When Auto Generate Header Cell ID is used, spaces are added in Header Cell IDs.
  • Acrobat crashes on opening pdf on 64-bit installer with NVDA enabled

 

Actions:

  • Acrobat Crashes while using Action

 

Export PDF:

  • Export PDF to XLSX - Scanned searchable PDF table is not detected

 

PDFMaker:

  • The link in the slides is not working after converting PPT to PDF

 

Viewer:

  • Embed File Attachment in PDF (64bit) does not work.

 

How to install Updates?

Install updates from the Help menu of Acrobat/ Reader DC. In the application, go to Help > Check for updates. Reboot the machine (If possible) once after updating the Adobe Acrobat/ Reader DC.
