Adobe Acrobat Closes immediately after launch

Acrobat opens a window, I'm not sure what it is, then immediately closes.

I reinstalled. I uninstalled and used CC cleaner and reinstalled. I uninstalled deleted all the folders on C:\ and reinstalled.

I have no idea what to try next.

It's a really annoying problem for sure. My problem was that Acrobat crashed after opening any pdf within a certain folder, anywhere else Acrobat was ok. SO I moved everything out of that folder and deleted it.

I had a similar problem and after spending about 6 hours with Adobe over the course of 3 days, they determined that it was not an Acrobat problem. Spent 2 hours with Apple also - they were at a loss. So I noticed that If the pdf is on my desktop it opens, if in downloads folder, it opens. My work files were organized basically 8 folders deep - that folder I think has a problem, but only with Acrobat - I guess Acrobat doesn't have to work so hard to get file open. HAHA. So I just moved all the files to a new folder that is  just 3 layers deep. This seems to have solved the problem. Hope t his helps someone.

Which version of Acrobat are you running. There was a problem with one specific release: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-closes-after-launch.html

If this is not it, I would get in touch with Adobe's customer support: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html - they might know about issues with the current version of Acrobat.
