Dear Adobe Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to report a recurring issue I've been experiencing with Adobe Acrobat installed on my Apple M1 Mac, running macOS version 14.4.1 (23E224) (P.I removed by Moderator).
Every time I attempt to edit a PDF document and change the font from the default Helvetica to any other font, the application crashes. This issue persists regardless of the PDF file being edited or the alternative font chosen.
I have ensured that my Adobe Acrobat application and macOS are both up to date, yet the problem continues. The repeated crashes have significantly hindered my ability to work efficiently, and I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance you can provide to resolve this issue.
Could you please advise on the steps I should take to address this problem? Are there any known workarounds or fixes that I can apply to prevent Adobe Acrobat from crashing when changing fonts?
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that
Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.
What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.01.20643 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/4d72bMb and see if that works.
Let us know if you experience any trouble and need more help.
~Amal
