Adobe Acrobat DC won't open after updating to Mac OS Mojave

I just updated to the new Mac OS operating system. I can't launch Adobe Acrobat or view any PDF files and MUST access my files ASAP. It was fine before the update. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still get the error. It says "Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Acrobat works with this version of mac OS. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and macOS." (By the way: I did try downloading the free reader and still get the same error message.)

I had none of those files and install and uninstall did NOT work. However, I manually deleted everything - even the Creative Cloud - and then reinstalled and now it appears to be working.

This was a constant irritant for me since upgrading.

I believe I've accidentally stumbled across the solution: Go offline.
Photoshop CS5 now works perfectly for me as long as my WiFi is off!

I'm suspecting that Adobe is doing this remotely to try to encourage people to upgrade to the latest Adobe software.

Hi,

The crash trace you provided is not in correct format and hence not helpful in isolating the issue.

Please provide the latest crash trace which gets saved at "~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/".

It will be of great help.

Hi Susanl,

As per the issue description mentioned above, Acrobat DC doesn't launch after updating to Mac OS Mojave, is that correct?

Could you try resetting Acrobat preferences to default using the steps given in this link: How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.  reboot the machine once after resetting the preferences and try launching Acrobat again. Does that work?

If not, try replicating the issue in a new user account by clicking Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Users & Groups, login into that account and launch Acrobat from there and check.
