Adobe Acrobat has been performing worse and worse

Over the past few months, Acrobat has been performing worse and worse. Users are complaining of slow and buggy apps, features like Combine Files in Adobe aren't working and after performing any available updates to Adobe, Office (Word, Outlook, etc) and even the workstations themselves, the app continues to perform poorly.
My users are running the 32-bit version, as advised by Adobe tech support. Anytime a users is on 64-bit they always say to downgrade and the issues continue. I'm just curious if anyone else has experience with this as its getting to be a consistent issue and I'm unsure how to proceed.

Hi @Sergio25506832rf5z

This is certainly not the experience you should be having with our product.

It seems you are using Acrobat in an enterprise environment. You must check for your Windows software update if you have a license version installed, which suggests degrading from a 64-bit to a 32-bit version. There seem to be system compatibility issues.

We'd suggest you contact our assisted support team to get assistance over the Phone or Chat. They can take remote control of your system and help you fix the root cause of this issue.

*Please check the private message for assisted support contact details.

Thanks,

Akanchha

I agree. Horrible. Crashes all the time and constant 'bugs'. Looking for an alternative as it's virtually unuseable now.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to keep you waiting.

If you are still experiencing this issue would you mind sharing more details about the issue you are experiencing? A small video recording or a screenshot of the issue would be very helpful.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.08.20555 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/3PchmJl and see if that works

Let us know if you experience any trouble and need more help.
