Adobe Acrobat on M2 Mac 2023

I have a fresh install of the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud products on a 2023 model Macbook Pro with Apple M2 Max, 96 gb.   Adobe Acrobat Pro/DC seems to have extremely poor performance; very slow scrolling and navigating within documents of various sizes.   Performance is worse than on a 2017 model PC.

Photoshop, Illustrator and other products within the Creative Cloud suite appear to be working just fine with no stutters with performance.

I've seen some forums where Adobe Techs replied and have suggested elaborate processes for a fix, which elicited some negative replies stating the product ought to function effectively out of the box.  I'm inclined to agree with those replies; that the fix ought to be a simple one, or at least effected via software update.   Granted, I acknowledge that on the back end the fix may not be that simple, but for the end-user, executing that fix ought to be as simple as a software update.  Is anyone else experiencing this issue and are there any solutions?

Hi @ΑΩ81_2 ,

Is this happening with Rosetta2 installed?

If you haven't installed Rosetta2, you can try and see if the issue gets resolved installing it.

Here's a good article and reference on how to install Rosetta:

Another approach to this issue is to uninstall completely the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version that you've deployed via the Adobe Creative Cloud.

After the uninstall run the AcroCleaner tool:

And then, you may download and install  a Adobe Acrobat Pro DC single installer version ( which, in contrast to the version that is pushed through the Creative Cloud desktop app), it should work as expected.
