Adobe Acrobat Pro - converting PDF to Word and all the text is garbled up, text is misspelled, etc.

I am using the paid version of Adobe Acrobat Pro and when I convert a pdf to word document, it is unuseable. If there is no fix for this, then there is no reason for me to pay for this software. Below is what gets spit out into word.

Was this a scanned and OCRed document? If not, what are the origins?

The pdf is being originally generated from an app based report writer. The app only allows for export to pdf and not word.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. What is the workflow/steps you are doing to export the PDF to Word? Please try to export the PDF via the document cloud link https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/acrobat/pdf-to-word/ and see if that helps.

Also, make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20085 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

I tried it again using the linka nd same result.

Not all programs write PDFs efficiently and correctly. I suspect the original program did not do a good job. 

Look at the File>Properties menu and see if the document is tagged.
