Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for Mac Persistant Out of Memory When Comparing Documents

I have been looking for years for a solution to the persistant problem of "out of memory" errors when trying to compare pdf documents.

I have scrolled through hundreds of posts since 2017--the same problem, with no solutions that any user claims to work.  I still can't compare two Acrobat Pro documents without an "out of memory" error, no matter how large or small.

I am running an iMac late 2014 model (iMac15,1) with the latest Mojave system (10.14.6), 32 gigs of DDR3 RAM and more than 1.6 terabytes free disk space.  Acrobat Pro version is 2015 Release (Classic) I Version 2015.006.30527.

Is there any help out there?

I have almost the same system as you (my iMac is a 2015, 5k monitor) and I'm not having that issue. As such I suspect it's not Acrobat itself, perhaps it's something about the way your computer is configured or where the files are?

Just out of curiosity, where are these files located? On your computer? on a USB stick? On an external HD?
