Hello,
I'm currently running Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Not the reader).
I'm getting a "No dictionaries found" message and i'm not sure where to find the dictionary packs that are not for reader.
I have reinstalled.
Our environemnt is vmware horizon instant clones packaged using appvolumes 4.1
Does anyone know if dictionary packs exist for Pro DC or where the dictionary would lie in the file explorer?
Thanks!

Hey @MIKE5E96, we are having the exact same issue. Our latest case with Adobe (ADB-21928801-D9B0) was quite unsatisfactory as they basically told us that Acrobat is unsupported in VDI environments. As you can imagine, we are unhappy with this response because they are advertising this, which we have followed to no avail. We have also reached out to VMware because we noticed that this dictionary issue does not happen when we disable the user's Writable. They said there were no Snapvol.cfg exclusions or other configurations that we could put in place to have dictionaries functional with an active Writable.
We are dumbfounded that Acrobat is this difficult to get functional in VDI. We have the last straw of reaching out to our MSP to see if they have any magic bullets to resolve these issues. Another issue we are having is that we cannot insert files (.docx in our case) into an existing PDF.
If we come across any fixes, we will reply back here.

I don't think your issues have anything to do with the above.

If you can provide installation steps that will have Acrobat fully functional in VDI, please share.

The issue I experienced was related to appvolumes.
I presume wherever they were installed were not being captured by appvolumes.
I ended up installing acrobat on the template.
But for the install:
VMware Horizon Deployments — Acrobat DC Virtualization Guide (adobe.com)

We have followed that and Acrobat (not Reader) is still non-functional.

You installed acrobat on the template or you installed it using appvolumes?

We installed it on our master image (template).

We've installed those. They do not fix the issue.

I'm not sure if it's the same or not.
But what I was working with was not Reader it was acrobat pro DC.
Maybe they're the same. But I also did not have any luck this route.

At the top of the 32-bit link's page, next to the date, it says "Also Applies to Adobe Acrobat DC". We have found that this is not the case.
