Adobe Acrobat Pro freezes with a popup window with garbled text inside.

This happens when I either just open the Adobe Acrobat Pro program or when I open a PDF using the Adobe Acrobat Pro program. I have uninstalled Creative Cloud, run the Adobe App Cleaner, and reinstalled Creative Cloud with no success.

This seems to be weird behavior. Please try removing the Acrobat application and running the cleaner tool from this page: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html

Reboot the machine and install Acrobat from the following page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html.  

 

If the issue still occurs, try a clean reinstall of the application. First, remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html) on the machine. 

Reboot the machine and reinstall the application from the following page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Share the Acrobat and OS version numbers.
