I am operating on Windows 10 - with Adobe Acrobate Pro DC - Version 2019.021.20048.
I read through aritcales and found people having problems getting the program to open on a specifc screen. I have that resolved, but now - if I have a PDF open and I select SAVE AS and pick my folder and save the PDF with a different name than when I opened it - Adobe moves to the primary screen. I don't want it on the primary screen, I want it on my second screen; which is where it opens and I always use it. WHY is it doing this? Is anyone else having this issue? If so, has anyone discovered the WHY? It is creating rage in my already stressful and fast pace day.

I am curious if any other program behaves this way, or is it just Acrobat? I would tend to be just as suspicious of the OS doing this. I have a work laptop that likes to make things move from screen to screen, and it occurs when my machine goes into sleep mode, and moves on wakeup. Any more details you can provide might help troubleshoot.
My best,
Dave

So far it is only Adobe that is reacting this way. I will try some other programs an see.
I did reboot my computer, and it is still happening.
Thank you,
Robert

More information....
If I don't have Adobe maiximized - it doesn't do it. As soon as I maximize it - it does it.
Any thoughts?

I wonder if this is related to the problem I often see with Acrobat when I'm using 2 monitors.
If just one pixel of the Acrobat window is imaging on the other screen, the resolution, sizing, and positioning goes haywire. Most times the top menu is completely cut off so I can get to the max/min buttons, menus, etc.
The only solution I've found is to temporarily unplug the second monitor and the Acrobat application window will now snap into place on the remaining screen.

Hello Dave,
It is only Adobe that is doing this. The only work around I have found is not maximizing it. I streatch it as far to each side, top and bottom as I can and work with it.
I've updated software - still an issue.
Thanks,
Robert

I'm having similar, but somewhat different, issues with Adobe Acrobat. I have a second monitor with 4k resolution. I like to use the Windows 10 docking feature to put my applications onto 1/4 of the screen, so I can have 4 apps open at one time on that screen. Whenever I use Save As, the Acrobat window moves 7 pixels inward, causing it to overlap my other apps by 7 pixels and creating a 7 pixel gap at the edges of the monitor. I have found that even if I size it manually, if it is too close to the edge - within 7 pixels - Adobe will jump 7 pixels away when doing a Save As. If I manually size it to be as big as the screen, the first Save As will cause it to jump down and to the right, the next one will cause it to jump up and to the left. Repeats this pattern on subsequent Save As commands. It is as if Acrobat cannot stand to be too close to the edge of the screen. Some things I've noticed:
I know it's probably not a big deal, but it gets super annoying after having to continually move my Acrobat window. I've been dealing with this for years. Anyone else having this issue? Why does this happen? Can this be fixed???

I am batlling the same issue with Acrobat Reader, set to fill half of the screen on my second monitor. Like you said, it's not a big deal, but just add it the list of "Things Software and Operating Systems Do that Make No Sense." It drives my CDO (That's "OCD" with the letters arranged alphabetically, as they SHOULD be...) straight up the wall! I mean, c'mon... aren't there a few lines of code they could throw in to keep their software from ruining our day??? (I know — First World Tech Problems...)

Agree @Artboy34, it is something that Adobe could correct.
But this is a user-to-user help forum and the engineers rarely show their face here.
Suggestion: log this as a bug-fix/feature request in the UserVoice forum, https://acrobat.uservoice.com/ It has a great chance of being noticed by Adobe's engineers and customer service team.
